Fascinated by our natural world, and its challenges and opportunities, I started this blog in 2015, describing my ideas, projects and experiences. With a degree in Business and Environmental Management I try to do my part in the protection of our environment.
In the past, I have supported and initiated various projects in the field of sustainability. Extensive experience has been gained in the private sector with a strong focus on creative and tech companies. My previous job was in nature conservation and that’s what really drives me.
I lived most of my life in The Hague and later in Amsterdam. During and right after my studies I lived for longer periods in Dublin and Willemstad (Curaçao). Life abroad has attracted me enormously ever since. At 29, I had the opportunity to go to Düsseldorf and after a whole series of events – this was a great time where I met Juliane, developed my interest in sustainability, launched Sustainica, made new friends – we moved to Berlin, our last destination in Europe it seems.
Beginning 2021 we travelled to Australia and our plan is to live here for a while (˘◡˘ )
For now, I can only invite you to read my stories, to see what we are up to. We can also connect and if you have any questions, just send an email.
Emys orbicularis aka the European pond turtle – one of the endangered species I worked with. Forest in Brandenburg (Germany), the Berlin skyline that we really loved (source: wonderwall.co.uk), and myself inspecting the soil in Marino Conservation Park, SA.
